I am a long time Mobile resident. I attended Mobile County Public Schools (Baker Elementary, Baker Middle, and Murphy High). I decided to stay in Mobile to attend the University of South Alabama. I moved to Huntsville for one year, and while I was there I attended the University of Alabama at Huntsville. I decided to come home and complete my bachelor's degree at the University of South Alabama. After four years in the classroom, I decided my true love was the library and technology. I returned to the University of South Alabama and completed my master's degree in Library Media.

Welcome to my home page. I am excited to be working with all E.R. Dickson Elementary students this year. As I have lots of time to get to learn all about my students, I felt that I would give you a little information here so you can learn a little about me.
I was born in AnnArbor, Michigan on January 29. My parents moved to Mobile when I was only 4, so I feel like a true Southerner. I attended Mobile County Public Schools and received my college degrees from the University of South Alabama. I am a hard worker and have been working since the age of 16. I was a manager at McDonalds, a newspaper carrier, and a waitress at Applebees and O'Charleys. My husband's name is David Pratt. He is a self-employed carpet cleaner and pest exterminator. My son Andrew is in the Navy and has a wife and daughter in Gulfport. I also have a daughter, Chloe. She is in the 8th grade this year. I have one cat, Tigger. Well, you may wonder what my major hobby is? Reading!!! Are you surprised? I love to read. My purse always has a book in it. You might even find me reading in the bank line or the drive thru at the local ChickFilA. Now that you know a little about me, I look forward to learning about you.
