ACAP provides valuable information about student learning in the areas of ELA, Math, and Science.
What You Need To Know About Testing...
Students should arrive on time each testing day. This will allow the students to receive breakfast to help start his/her day. Students will test in the morning. We are requesting that students are not "checked out" prior to 11:30 am on testing days.



The 4x100 relay team earned a 3rd place finish, tying with Denton in a competitive race.
Keimoria Busby ran a great race in the 200 meters, finishing 3rd overall.
In the field events, Bailey Young soared to 1st place in the High Jump, showcasing outstanding athletic ability.
Kinsley Franklin also had an impressive performance, earning 2nd place in the Shot Put.
Congratulations to these athletes for their hard work and dedication as they continue to represent Dunbar well this season! 🏃♀️🥇

Our Lady Tigers competed in their first track meet of the season at Davidson High School against Pillians, MCTS, Hankins, and Lott. The team performed exceptionally well and Dunbar finished 2nd overall for the meet!

Principal's Message
Thank you to all our parents for your support during the first semester of this school term. We have made strides academically through this time. We are looking forward to a fabulous second half for this 2025-2026 school year. Please make sure that your child is here each and every day...on time. Teachers are maintaining a tight schedule to ensure that all students have academic success with the remaining standards/skills for this quarter. Report Cards for 3rd Quarter will be sent home Monday, March 23rd. If you would like to schedule a conference, please contact your child's teacher. Along with report cards, students will receive Recommitment Letters(Magnet School) and Course Selection Forms for the 2026-2027 school year are due by Friday, April 3rd. Teachers are available before school, during their planning times, and after school. All parents are encouraged to use the "Thrillshare" app (Apptegy/Rooms) to contact teachers at thrillshare.com.

The cost is 10 dollars for the entire week and must be paid no later than Friday, March 6th.
Monday is Camouflage Day. Dress code is a white shirt, Camo Pants(no rips please) and black tennis shoes.
Tuesday is Twin Day. Grab your bestie, a teacher or even a triplet group and MATCH from head to toe.
Wednesday is Sports Jersey Day. Any appropriate sports jersey(no midriff) and standard school bottoms. You can wear shoes of your choice.
Thursday is Spirit Day. You can wear a Dunbar spirit shirt, jeans(clean look-no rips or holes) and shoes of your choice.
Remember, the cost is 10 dollars and it must be paid no later than Friday, March 6th.
