We are aware of a Snapchat post that has been shared multiple times and has caused concern within our school community. Our administration has been working closely with MCPSS investigators to review the situation. At this time, there is no viable threat to our campus.
We ask that you please speak with your students about the seriousness of creating or sharing posts that may cause alarm or disrupt the school environment. Posts of this nature are taken very seriously, and such behavior will not be tolerated.
My goal is to always be as transparent as possible in these situations as I know we have your most precious gifts in our care. Thank yo to the parents who forwarded me this information early this morning.
