Meet your New Assistant Principal!
Blaine Hayaski brings over 13 years of experience in education, having served at Pillans Middle School, Citronelle High School, Vigor High School, Semmes Middle School, and Mary G. Montgomery High School.
He has taught a variety of history courses, including Advanced Placement classes at the high school level. Throughout his career, he has been dedicated to creating a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment where every child can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
We are excited to have Mr. Hayaski join the admin team at E.R. Dickson and we are looking forward to a fantastic school year ahead!

Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year!
Meet the Teacher will be held August 7 in the gym. Please follow the time schedule that is posted below based on your child’s last name. If you have not completed registration, your child will not be placed on a roll until the first day of school.
While in the gym, you will have the opportunity to:

Final Registration is Thursday, July 24, 2025 from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Please be sure to complete the online registration AND bring your proofs of residence. BOTH steps must be completed in order for your child's registration to be complete.

The 24-25 Yearbook has arrived. If you pre-purchased your yearbook, you may pick it up from the office. If you wish to purchase a yearbook, they will be on sale during Meet the Teacher on a first come basis.

Mobile County Public Schools will observe the federal Juneteenth Holiday on Thursday June 19th. There will be NO Summer Literacy and Numeracy Camp. We will resume on Monday, June 23rd.

Distinguished Young Woman of America, Alicia Chu, visited with students on Monday, June 16th. She read the story, "Coastal Alabama Alphabet" and talked about how to "Be Your Best Self". She shared the program's emphasis of Healthy, Ambitious, Involved, Responsible and Studious young ladies. Ms. Chu even showcased her talent of opera singing. We really loved her visiting our school!
