Yearbooks are now on sale for the 25-26 school year. Flyers are going home today, but you can also access the document under the menu in the E.R. Dickson Newsletter and Documents link on the school website. This year's yearbook will be a softcover yearbook. The yearbook will not be delivered until the summer. We will post on the website and social media when they arrive. We have past yearbooks also available for purchase. See the order form for more details. 25-26 yearbooks can be ordered online or sent to the school with order form and payable by cash/check only. VOTING DAY-TUESDAY MAY 19th
Tomorrow is a voting day, and our school will serve as a voting site. To ensure the safety of our students, all voting will take place in the gym area only.
Please be aware that we may experience heavier traffic during both morning drop-off and afternoon carpool. We kindly ask for your patience during these times.

Book Fair Opens for everyone on Monday, March 2.
Just a reminder that 10% tax added to all totals and rounded up to the nearest $1 to Share the Fair.
Early Shopping for eWallets will be on Friday, February 27.
We will be open for March into Learning on Thursday, March 5 from 4:00 - 6:00.
As of right now, school will be in session as normal tomorrow. Just a reminder, our take-in time is 7:15am and our instructional day begins at 7:45am. ERD students must be in proper school uniform but may wear non-uniform winter jackets, hats and gloves so that they stay warm. Hoodies are also acceptable during the next few days; however, students will be asked to remove them while in the building. If we receive any additional information or weather updates, we will post them on social media and send out messages via SMS messaging.
Pre-K Registration opens today. Pre-registration for Alabama First Class Pre-K opens today! Alabama First Class Pre-K has been ranked as the nation’s highest quality state pre-kindergarten program for 19 consecutive years, and MCPSS has Alabama First Class Pre-K classrooms in schools around the county. If you have a child who will be 4 years old on or before September 1, begin the application process for the 2026-27 school year today.
