- Hello, my name is Kristy McLain and I am one of the school counselors at E.R. Dickson. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of South Alabama, a Master’s Degree in Counseling from the University of South Alabama, an Education Specialist Degree in School Counseling from the University of West Alabama, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. This will be my sixth year at E.R. Dickson and my seventh year as a school counselor. Prior to becoming a school counselor, I worked with special needs children for seven years. During the 2023-2024 school year I will be the counselor for Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grades.
