TIGER TV MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS

Welcome to Tiger TV at W- E. R. D.

We are in our third year of broadcasting announcements and special reports.  Our goal for this year has been to transform our ERD Technology Team into an after school club.  This will be a club where students have been focusing on learning about the latest in technology.  Our goal has been to have them rotate through hosting the morning announcements, having teams of reporters that gather video from ERD events, and to hold interviews about important issues to share about our school, and then report back to our ERD family in a special broadcast.  They have learned things about broadcasting, public speaking, researching important topics and many other valuable skills. 

Our very own Technololgy Team just returned from attending the Faulkner State Technology Fair in which we had six teams and 3 individuals competing.  We had two students that placed.  Akanksha Rawat won 1st place and Summerlin O'Gwynn won Honorable Mention both in the Individual Competition.  Congratulations girls!
